Just wanted to say hey to everyone.
I'm Kairi, I'm 33 years old and I'm a trans person.

Whilst I've not undergone any surgery or visited a doctor about it, I relate mostly to being female gender.

One thing that I've been quite concerned about recently is that on many trans sites are a lot of those who identify as trans but only post photos of them in lingerie and knickers.
I just don't like doing that.
I'm a little worried I am doing something wrong if everyone else is doing it

Welcome to Susan's Place. I think you may have come to the right web site because posting a picture in lingerie and knickers will get you a sternly worded message from a moderator discussing a TOS 4 violation. This is a medical help web site (though we do talk about other things) so you should be able to find most anything a serious transitioner would require. If you can't find it, ask and somebody should soon answer your question.

You aren't doing anything wrong and you will find that the people here agree with your values and there are members in your age group. If there is anything I can help you with, let me know.

I'm sure you will find many lovely people on here and at lest for me it isn't about posting lingerie shots all day.

There is no right or wrong,
Within reason and there isnt a way that you have to be. It's just what you feel represents who you are.

Someone will be along soon and post the forum rules, make sure you have a read when they do.

Hi Kairi, welcome to Susan's Place! I'm 29, have been for 26 years running now! 

Some transgender people don't need doctors, I was doing fine outside of the healthcare system and living as I saw fit. I've recently started seeking healthcare because, yeah, 55. I figured why not just tack the transgender expenses right on the bill?

Also, thank you for the reassurance about the underwear photos. I'm far from a prude and I'm extremely okay with people doing what they want, but uh, I don't really wanna see other people in underwear unless I am their partner.
Regarding my gender, the simple truth is, I am me. I might look male genetically but the way I am is more female and the way I want to dress is female.
That's about it really
