Not bothered by penis but...

If I woke up tomorrow with my penis gone I would be delighted.
It'd be out of the way and I can get on with things.

But a penis doesn't make me who I am at all. I have no attachment to it other than the skin It's attached to.

I want a female body so I can be seen as I feel, the penis though, I dunno, I just don't care about it.
If it stays it stays.
Possibly because nobody but me is ever going to see me naked. (I find it almost impossible to find a partner when dressed as a guy, there's zero chance I would find a girl into a mtf trans person)

Is something wrong with me here?
I know everyone is different but how can I want to be seen as female if I have a penis?

Let's see where this journey takes me.

I don't think it matters...what matters is that you are honest and true to yourself. I married my "husband" and she came out to me as trans MTF, and I still love her dearly...whatever obstacles are in the way, we will overcome together....there is hope for you yet, my friend!! Being honest about who you are to yourself and others is the most important thing.

Hope this helps a bit :)

Hi,

You answered yourself that question. I quote : "A penis doesn't make me who I am at all."

Most of cis people don't question their gender.
If a girl wears trousers then (with time) it will become something that girls do. If a girl does a sport then it will be a sport that girls do. One can question if it is socially acceptable behavior but without questioning their Cisgenderness.
Meanwhile trans people DO question their gender. And here, in my opinion, the pain starts. The word "DOUBT" is thrown out.
If a transgirl wears trousers then her transgenderness is doubted. If a transgirl does a sport which is not girly, her gender is questioned.
But it doesn't have to be that way.  ;)
If you are a girl and you have a penis, I guess it only proves that girl can have penis.

Self doubt can brings new ideas and open your mind to new possibilities. Being too confident in your belief is not always a way to be a better being. And I like to think that being trans help us to be more open minded / flexible.

Use your doubt to explore yourself, instead of allowing it to create misery.
Maybe you want to be seen as a woman because you are. And you have a penis because you have been born that way. Only you can tell.

Cheers,

yes I guess I have answered my own question :)
Its aomething I am still trying to get to terms with, a woman with a willy.

There's all those negative conutations about trans people like this
'chick with a dick, ->-bleeped-<- and ->-bleeped-<-'
eugh

I know, I know, I need to get over myself and live the life I want. Im just scared of...well the rections I guess
Let's see where this journey takes me.
