I'm looking at beginning hair removal on my face, and have been researching both elctro and laser. I stumbled across the American Laser Centers website, and their guarantee: http://www.americanlaser.com/dsp_contact.cfm Basically they say they guarantee their work for two years.

I have reddish facial hair, which I know makes me a less than ideal candidate for laser, but I was wondering if the laser guarantee would make it worth trying laser anyway. Is there any possibility of laser damaging hair and making electro harder? I think I read something at one point, but it seems like everyone that does laser says it works 100% of the time, and everyone that does electro says bad things about laser.

I guess my question is, does this sound like a good idea even though I have reddish facial hair?

Run, don't walk from ALC! They got me for $2000 although I did get enough results to be able to work and not have any visible facial hair, they did not live up to their promise.

Crap. I gave them my contact information.

I've read about E3000, and while it does sound wonderful, I just graduated college, work 8:30-5:30, and there's no way I can take time off to spend a couple weeks in Texas (I'm in California). I'm looking for something I can schedule in the evenings or on weekends and I was looking into laser because I don't have $10,000+. In fact, I actually have negative money thanks to student loans, so I really really need to keep this job and keep the bosses happy.

I realize it's pretty grim, but the way I look at it, I'm young (22), I just started HRT, so I'm moving the right direction. Frankly I'm just glad that I'm not going to get any bigger and hairier.

Consider yourself lucky that you were smart enough to be born into an era where transition is possible at 22.
