Yesterday was my very first time going out in public! I wore skinny jeans & a new blouse I had just bought a few days ago. I was really nervous driving out of my small town I live in, but felt great as soon as i got on the highway. It's a little over an hour drive to get into the city, so I had time to get used to being outdoors without interacting with anyone (and do my voice lessons - I've only been at it for a week, so my voice is no where close to where it should be).
Went to see my therapist, and even had a nice conversation with a young lady in the waiting room (which she started). Therapist said I looked fantastic

. She also said she'll have my HRT letter ready on my next visit!

I hadn't planned it, but I also dropped by a friend's house. He already knew about my transitioning, but hadn't seen me dressed up yet. He was surprised, but said I looked good!

I didn't stop anywhere else. If I had someone else with me, I might have done some shoping. Sometime in early July a lady friend from work is taking me shopping! I can't wait!! She's been helping me out with lots of great advice (clothes and makeup mostly).
It's been amazing. Everyone I've talked to about my transition has been understanding & supportive! Family, friends, coworkers. I don't know what I could possibly have done right in my life to deserve all these amazing people.
