How long should you wait until a guy calls before you write him off

Hey people,

There's this cute coffee shop guy near where I live and he works alone. One time I went there because I was being harassed, and the man who was doing it talked to the coffee shop guy how pretty I was, ugh llol. I have also been followed in my zone,so yeah a little scary.

After a few days, the coffee shop guy started saying to me every time he saw me, so I made a lil conversation and he told me about his two jobs, the neighborhood gossip, etc.

Today I  was feeling bold, passed there, and gave him my phone number in a lil note after a bit of casual conversation. He smiled back at me.

Now, what I ask is how long it's expected to wait until he texts/calls before I give up

Maybe he's shy. Go talk to him again. If he doesn't call after that move on.

Working two jobs he may not have much free time so depending on his schedule, it could take a couple of weeks before he has the time to spend with you. If you talk with him again, you might ask if he wants to do something that doesn't take much time like coffee, a meal or maybe a movie.

3 days, if he won't call/text you, you can pay him another visit. But after that, just go there for coffee. He might be accepting you, yet married or having a girlfriend..,

Yes, he works two jobs 7 hours each and saturdays as well snd I have seen it. He told me. We will see.

I'd give him like a week. Even if he's busy with his jobs he can still text you and say hi. If he doesn't then like others said go back and see what's up. If he doesn't want to do something with you don't assume it has anything to do with you. He could already have a gf. Or he could be so busy with his jobs he maybe thinks he doesn't have time to date. Maybe he thinks you are too young. Or he is maybe even gay. Gay males seem to have that gay radar thing but transgirls sure don't seem to. I made a total fool of myself hitting on this guy I didn't know was gay. It was embarrassing.  Just remember, even if nothing happens with this guy there are TONS of other guys to pick from.

I'd say a week but even if he does not initially respond, why not keep pursuing him, at least to a point? Some people are shy, busy, have complicated lives etc and need more encouragement to respond. Don't feel like you can't pursue people you are interested in assertively. There is no magic in finding Mr Right, sometimes a friendship takes time to develop into anything other than a friendship.
