A few hours after my night shift so bleughhhh

Ive been very optimistic and a little excited about it but of course, stupid old brain likes to know worst case scenarios
and of course theres the internet.

I now have this idea (thank you internet) they they will say "you'll never pass so go live as a guy"

likely irrational I know but ugh jeez, I'm scared
Let's see where this journey takes me.

Take a deep breath and relax. I know it's hard but it will be fine. Regardless whether this is a therapist or doctor I'm sure you will be well treated and soon those jitters and negative feelings will go away and be replaced with happiness and joy about taking those first steps.

No the wont say that, that is the little voice in your head, I felt the same way I understand how you feel but you have to go with your heart

Congrats on taking that brave step.  Take a deep breath.  It will be great.
Right now, I only go by Jessica on this forum.  Maybe someday I'll go by Jessica everywhere.

I had my first appointment today and maybe it's a different kind of specialist but we did not talk about my looks at all but more about what I wanted to do and what I want to be. I hope it went well for you also! Please let us know...

so meeting went okay, discussed all the why how when and where and i have to go back in thirty weeks for my second appointment. looks like the NHS has been inundated lately.

I may have to find more dubious means of getting started.

kinda curious is that after the appointment I went back to bed and woke up feeling no dysphoria at all...hurray I am okay.
That lasted until I got outside and saw a woman walking a dog and well...first ever shouting match inside my head haha
Let's see where this journey takes me.
