Hi!

I'm 5 weeks post op from SRS and I am wondering if anyone of you have had positive experiences after your SRS with your hairline growing back? I am self conscious about my receding in the temples and have been for years. (I don't think HRT  affected my hair pre-op even though I was on a lot of spiro)

I'm only 25 but am considering getting the hairline lowering surgery as that will also feminise a lot more.

Does being on estrogen for years post op help?

Thanks xx

I wouldn't expect much, if any re-growth in areas missing hair... Hair loss should stabilize though without The extra T in your systemYou can have scalp advancement surgery or transplants to help fill in!!!

I am 5 months on HRT, pre-SRS.  My thin spot on top might be a little less thin, it's hard to tell.  But there has been absolutely no change in my hairline, and I don't expect any.  I have my back and sides styled in a way that looks feminine, but I have to wear a hat with my own hair.  Mostly, I wear wigs.
