Gay behavior and passing

Hi everyone. After watching different transgirls on YouTube I noticed something. Even though some of these girls have transitioned they still act and sound like gay men. They use gay slang, snap their fingers in the air, etc. If you close your eyes you would  swear you were listening to a gay guy. I'm not talking about their voices being deep. I'm talking about the actual way they talk. Most of these girls look awesome but I'm pretty sure they get outed a lot. The gay speech patterns, gay slang, gestures and mannerisms scream GAY BOY!  Or drag queen. I'm totally not trying to rag on anyone. I realize that a lot of us spent time in the gay culture and I know once you become used to gay male behavior its like ingrained. But I think that it can be a cause of otherwise passable girls not passing.  Your thoughts on this everyone.

I spend a LOT of time on YouTube and know exactly what you mean. Some I can hardly stand to watch but do and wonder about the same things you are. I don't know if this is picked up from gay culture or with people just thinking that's how trans girls are supposed to act? There's a difference between acting effeminate and being feminine. A lot of this is done for show, I'm sure but still... Some also go to great lengths to make sure to show off their cleavage which I think comes off as a bit insecure, but that's just me. (Angela Vanity, I'm talking about you!)

Some of this reminds me of the the suburban upper-class white boy that talks like a rap gangsta from the hood to be cool.

So who do you like? Who do you not like or tolerate?

I think you are right trying to act female is actual hard. To walk and talk like a female you have to study them. Where I work we have lines down the middle of the hall and every time I walk down the halls I practice walking like a female not all gay guy talk like that but yes I know what you mean. My favorite Mtf is princess Joules. She looks and sounds amazing. I also like Chloe Arden and Sarah n dippity. My favorite FtM is Jeydon whale. He's adorable and very funny. He sings and has a few songs on YouTube. Someone sent me the link to his song called "ice cream sammich" . I had absolutely no clue he was trans. I only found out after I subscribed to his channel. I also really like UpperChase.  He's a gay transguy and he is hilarious. Sam Collins is cool too.  The only person I totally don't like is this guy named no joke Howard.  He isn't trans. He is trans attracted and I think he is like really gross and creepy. He has all kinds of videos on YouTube about how he likes "girls with dicks" and debating if it makes him gay or not. It looks like part of his head got blown off in a war or something so I really wonder if he's like brain damaged or something.

I think one thing to consider is that the people we see on YouTube are all out as trans and being trans is part of their gig. Some make it theater and some are just doing what they do to help or be examples to others.

There's some I've followed for quite a long time and still do to watch their progression even if I don't care for them all that much. PrincessJoules falls into that category and I watch most of Stef Sanjati's videos too. I can't even stand Gigi Gorgeous.

I like Elle Bradford a lot and Caroland and I've met Chloe Arden but she has some of what Julia was talking about going on and is pretty crude sometimes. I'll watch Maya and Daria Jane from Romania because she's interesting. I'm somewhat fascinated with AJ Clementine from Australia who claims to be agender but has transitioned and is having SRS. I've watched a couple of teenagers too because that was my thing. Emily Tressa has a few good vids talking about her experience as does Undeniably Kate but she's no longer making new content.

I watch a couple of trans guys too just to better understand their experience and I watch Blaire White just to see what people are screaming about. Unrelated but I get a kick out of some of the anti-feminist/anti-SJW/anti-transtrender content too. Toon makes me laugh but I doubt few would appreciate his humor.

I've only seen a couple of videos by gigi gorgeous but I don't really care for her. She's a good example of a transwoman who sounds and acts like a gay guy. I really don't get why she's such a big deal. She's pretty yes but nothing exceptional. There are women on this site prettier than she is. And there is just something about her that makes me think she'd be like totally snobby.  Just my opinion . So all you gigi lovers don't start gathering rope or picking out a tree to hang me from.

Trans girls comes in all the shape and size with different personality and behaviors
The same with cis girls
Most of the time I'm very feminine and soft in my behavior ( girly girl )
I walk like I'm runway and talk in girly way while my hand playing with my hair

I also do snap my fingers in the air when I talk with my gay friends

My trans friends used to bully me about my feminine behavior telling me that
A lot of girls don't behave this way and most cis girl are plain
And it's not ok for trans girl to act girly because people will not consider her a "real girl"

I believed them and start to act plain I did not feel comfortable to my true self
And people come to me and said you look feminine but you are not behave feminine enough you are not a girl you are a gay boy

The thing is even when I behave feminine and girly people come and say even so you are not a real girl you are a gay boy don't even try , wtf

It's true a lot of girl don't act girly or feminine

But I don't relate to this group of girls

Plus when I act naturally in my girly behavior guys look more interesting in me than when I act like what they told me

lol I found later they told me that because they feel jealous and don't want me to get more attention from guys than them

Moral of the story is people try to stereotype and generalize group of people in one way

True some trans girl act like gay men and some act girly and the other are not

But we all valid as cis girl are

If someone say you are not a girl because you don't act like most girls then it's their problem
There is no ( one way ) of how guys and girls should behave

If someone have to lose their  authentic self just so cis gender people approve them
Then there is something wrong

In my natural girly behavior there some people told me your not a real girl
When I acted plain the same happened also

But when cis girl act this way they are totally ok

It's called bullying and trying to find reasons to invalidate you
