About The Guide
This guide is meant to help anyone get less hairy, softer, smoother, evener, and more feminine like legs.
This guide is made using ONLY homemade remedies and DOES NOT include any products that contain any sort of chemicals.
This guide will take about 4 weeks to complete from the first step to the last step.

Why I Decided To Write This Guide
I am a Transgender Women who, for multiple reasons, has decided not to transition. With that being said, I still would like to feel a little more feminine inside my Male body, and one way I had found out to do that was to shave my legs. Upon shaving my legs I ran into multiple problems along the way, and after searching the internet high and low, I finally came up with a solution to all those problems I was having, and would like to share them so that someone who is having the same problems ,doesn't have to go through what I did. I am not on any hormones, I had the thickest, darkest, longest, curliest leg hair I have ever seen, as well as having super sensitive skin, so this guide can work for anyone if they put in the time and effort like I did.

Material Needed
Shaving Cream/Razor or Electric Trimming Razor or Wax/Waxing Strips: This is what you will be using for Step 1 to get rid of the long hair you have now. If your hair is 3mm or shorter you do not have to worry about any of these.

Epilator: This is how you will be taking off your hair from now on. For those of you who do not know what an Epilator is, it is a device that has multiple tweezer like heads that pull the hair out 1 by 1. It is more effective than shaving as it lasts longer and will also thin your hair, but it is less effective than waxing as it does not last as long as waxing does. You can buy one from either Amazon, or like me and just go to your local Walmart. I bought the cheapest one I could find (which was about $35) and it works fine, so you do not need an expensive one.

Coconut Oil: This is what you will be using as a moisturizer from now on. It is very important that you get the correct kind as it will be the healthiest for your skin. You will need to get "Organic, Extra Virgin, Unrefined Coconut Oil". You can find it on Amazon, or your local Walmart, but I am sure any market that sells food will sell it as well. You can get a jar that will last you well over a year for about $7

Baking Soda: This is what you will be using to exfoliate your skin from now on. This is quite easy as there are not a lot of types of baking soda, so as long as you get baking soda made for food, and it is Pure baking soda, you will be fine. You can find it on Amazon, or your local Walmart, but I am sure any market that sells food will sell it as well. You can get about 2lbs of it, which will last you quite a few months for about $5.

Lemon Juice: This is what you will be using to help even your skin tone from now on. This is again an easy one, as all's you will need to find is 100% Lemon Juice. You can find it on Amazon, or your local Walmart, but I am sure any market that sells food will sell it as well.

Highly Recommended, But Not Required Material
Ibuprofen: Or any type of painkiller. The first time you use the Epilator it will be quite painful, and these will help quite a bit. The first time feels like you are getting poked will burning hot needles over and over, so I highly recommend getting yourself some kind of painkillers.

Step 1: Getting Rid Of Your Current Hair
You can achieve this step from multiple different ways, and I will go over the pros and cons of each one.

The easiest and cheapest way is to go and buy yourself some Shaving Cream and a Razor, or you may already have them which is even easier, and just shave all of the hair off. I have used both Male and Female razors to shave, and either one will work fine.
The Pros: Very cheap, you will not spend much money if you plan to get rid of your hair this way.
The Cons: If you have sensitive skin it could get very irritated, you are also at a very high risk of getting a lot of ingrown hairs, which do not look and feel pretty, it will also take you a couple hours to shave all the hair off, you will also have to wait a couple days before you can continue to Step 2.

The way I recommend is to get an Electric Trimming Razor, one where you can choose how short you want the hair to be, and trim all the hair to anywhere from 1mm to 3mm.
The Pros: You have 0 risk of irritating the skin or getting any ingrown hairs this way, as you will not be cutting the hairs down to skin length, you can also continue to Step 2 immediately after you trim all the hair, it will also take you less time than having to shave all of the hair off.
The Cons: If you do not have an Electric Trimming Razor available to use, you would have to spend quite a bit of money for something you may only use once.

The most useful way would be to use an Electric Trimming Razor to trim the hair about 2mm, and then use Wax or Waxing Strips to pull the hair out.
The Pros: This will cause the hairs to start growing back thinner and lighter, it will also help with the pain of your first time using the Epilator.
The Cons: It can irritate the skin, especially if it is your first time, you will also have to wait at least 2 - 3 weeks before you can continue to Step 2, you would also have to go buy an Electric Trimming Razor and Waxing material if you don't already have it laying around.

Whichever way you choose, the hair has to come off one way or another, so choose whichever way you prefer.

Step 2: Your First Time Epilating
Once you have gotten your hair to a length of 1mm to 3mm by whichever way you chose, it is time to continue to Step 2.

The first thing you are going to want to do is take a shower or bath, just so you are nice and clean and don't have to worry about dirt irritating your skin why you are Epilating.

Next you are going to want to get your painkillers (if you have decided not to take any then good luck...) and grab your Epilator. Why your painkillers are kicking in I am going to tell you what an Epilator is and how it works. An Epilator is a mechanical device that uses tweezer like heads to pull the hairs out 1 by 1. On the front will usually be the on/off/speed switch, and at the top will be where the tweezer like heads are. The correct way to use an Epilator is to hold it in the direction where the on/off/speed switch is facing you, place it on the skin, and run it up and down wherever you would like to remove hair. What this does is cause the piece that spins the tweezer like heads around to spin in the opposite direction that the hair grow, which causes it to lift, grab, and pull the hairs out with ease.

The way I want you to do it for your first time is to simply flip the Epilator around, so that instead of the on/off/speed switch facing you, it is facing away from you, and I will explain why. Your first time Epilating will be painful, so I am trying to make it less painful for you so you can actually do it in 1 sitting, rather than over the course of 3 days like myself. What flipping it around does, is instead of the head spinning in the opposite direction that the hair grows, and lifting, grabbing, and pulling the hairs, it is now spinning in the same direction that the hair grows, which means it will not lift the hairs and will only grab and pull hairs it happens to get by chance. This means that instead of it pulling a handful of hair, which is quite painful, it is now only pulling a few hairs at a time, which is a lot less painful.

Now that I have explained that, it's time to start. Grab your Epilator and turn it onto the lowest setting, this will also help with the pain. Once it is on, turn it around so the on/off/speed switch is facing away from you, and starting from your knee, run it down towards your foot. You should feel some hairs start to get pulled out. Now, keeping the Epilator in the same direction, start from your foot and run it up to your knee, you should feel some hairs getting pulled out again, this is how you Epilate. Keep doing this until you don't feel many hairs getting pulled out anymore. It will take you quite some time the first time you do it so don't worry. Once you feel like you have gotten most of the hairs (you should also be able to see them scattered around as well as on the Epilator), flip it around so that the on/off/speed switch it facing you, which would be the correct way to Epilate, and start Epilating that way. You should feel a lot more hairs getting pulled out and should now see why it is meant to be used this way. At this point you can try different speeds if you would like, and if you need to or like it more you can flip it back the opposite way again and continue doing it like that for some time, but I will warn you, you will not get all of your hairs this way, so you will have to flip it around eventually. Also, if you feel you need to take a break and continue later or the next day then go ahead, don't overdo yourself.

Once you have got all your hair out using the Epilator, grab your Coconut Oil, and get a small amount on your finger, about the size of your fingernail, and lather it all over your legs. I usually use about 2 fingernail amounts per leg. Your legs are probably full of red dots, which will go away in a day or 2, and the Coconut Oil will help them heal. Don't Epilate for about 3 to 4 days now, let your legs heal. Epilating before then isn't worth it as the hair hasn't grown back long enough yet, and it will just irritate your skin even more.

Step 3: Coconut Oil Moisturizer
After you have Epilated for the first time, you should have put some Coconut Oil on your legs. From this day on, once a day you will put the same amount of Coconut Oil on your legs (2 fingernail amounts per leg). This will help to start getting your legs soft and smoother.

Step 4: Your Second Time Epilating
After waiting 3 to 4 days, it is time for your second time Epilating. Don't worry, this time will be a lot less painful, but will also be a little different than the first time.

Before you start Epilating, I want you to put some Coconut Oil on your legs, just 2 fingernail amounts per leg will be fine. Lather it in and get it nice and even, and once that is done, it is time to use your Epilator. Make sure you use the Epilator the correct way, flipping it around will do nothing when using Coconut Oil. The Coconut Oil should help the Epilator glide across your skin with easy, and it also helps pull out hairs easier. Keep Epilating like this until your legs are nice and smooth, which shouldn't take as long as the first time you Epilated.

Once you are done, always make sure to clean out your Epilator! I am sure you have already seen that Coconut Oil solidifies at temperature around and under 70 degrees, and then liquefy at anything warmer. If you don't clean your Epilator, the Coconut Oil will solidify and build up over time, which is not good, and you will end up having to get a new Epilator. Thankfully, it is not hard to clean them. What you are going to do is pop off the head of the Epilator (the part that has the tweezer heads and spins). To do this, there should be a button or switch that will pop it off. After you have got it off, just use some soap and water to clean it. Make sure you use soap, water alone will not clean off the oil. What I do is get some soap in my hands and lather it all around and clean it nice and good, then I will get some soapy water in the sink and let it soak in there for a couple minutes. After that I will rinse it out really good and let it air dry. MAKE SURE you do not put the head back onto the Epilator why it is still wet, it could ruin your Epilator!

This is how you will Epilate from now on. It is much easier than using water or having your legs dry, it will also keep your legs moisturized why Epilating, along with helping prevent ingrown hairs, and helps reduce those red bumps you get after Epilating. You will also start only Epilating twice a week. Find some days that are good for you and are far apart, I do mine Wednesday and Saturday as those are the best days for me.

Step 5: Baking Soda Exfoliating
After about 2 weeks (which should be your forth time Epilating), you are going to start using Baking Soda for exfoliating. You are going to do this step the same day you Epilate for the fifth time. This is quite easy and only takes about 10 - 15 minutes longer in the shower or bath.

What you are going to do first is get your Baking Soda, and get a smaller bowl or cup. Next you are going to get half a cup of Baking Soda, and half a cup of Water and mix them together nice and good. It should create a somewhat thick like paste. Now, grab your Baking Soda/Water mix and you are going to get in the shower or bath and get nice and clean, make sure you wash before doing this as it is just easier to get this done last and make sure the water is at least a little warm, the warm water helps open your pores. Now what you are going to do is grab some of the paste you just made, it doesn't really matter how much, just don't grab anything like a handful. I will usually use 3 fingers to get a good amount. Now you are going to rub it all over your legs, everywhere, between your toes, the bottom of your feet, behind your knee, as well as everywhere you Epilated. After you have got it all on, let it sit for about 5 - 10 minutes, or until it drys, the longer you let it sit the more it helps, but once it is dry it doesn't do anything else. Once you decide it is enough, rinse it off, and you will instantly feel how much smoother your legs feel. The Baking Soda helps take off dead skin, and over time helps lighten and even your skin tone. It also helps clean deep into pores which helps get rid of strawberry legs. You should do this before every time you Epilate, which should be twice a week, and after you have exfoliated, get out of the shower or bath and Epilate.

Step 6: Lemon Juice And Coconut Oil Moisturizer
The reason I held off on this for so long is because you have been pulling out hair from your skin, which your skin isn't used to. After 1 week of exfoliating with Baking Soda (which would also be your sixth time Epilating and second time using Baking Soda), you are going to start mixing Lemon Juice with your Coconut Oil Moisturizer. You are going to do this 4 times a week, which will be the day before and after you Epilate. For example, if you Exfoliate/Epilate on Wednesday and Saturday, you will be doing this Tuesday/Thursday/Friday/Sunday, and just put normal Coconut Oil on your legs Monday, as well as Wednesday and Saturday. NEVER do this when the day you Epilate, especially after you Epilate!

What you are going to do is get your normal amount of Coconut Oil that you put on your legs, which should be 2 fingernail amounts per leg, and all's you are going to do is add about 1/4 teaspoon of Lemon Juice to it. An easy way to do this is to pour the Lemon Juice in a 1/4 measuring teaspoon, then get your Coconut Oil and lather it around in your hands, then poor the Lemon Juice into your hands and lather than around as well, then lather it on your legs. What Lemon Juice does is lightens and evens skin and hair, but because it is acidic you do not want to use it on your skin every day as that wouldn't be good for it. Because Lemon Juice is acidic, it will dry out your legs, which will make them look dry and ugly, and not smooth and pretty, that is why you mix it with Coconut Oil. The Coconut Oil keeps your skin moisturized why the Lemon Juice lightens and evens it.

Great how to guide. I never would have thought to use baking soda or lemon juice. And, I'm kinda embarrassed to admit this, but until now I had never heard of an epilator. I have just been using nair. Simple, quick, and effective. Depending on your hair and body chemistry, it can last up to a week, maybe more, before you feel you need to hit your legs again.

Thank you. I had no idea you could use baking soda to exfoliates. I use sugar scrub which is expensive.

Your very welcome :D Baking Soda is amazing for exfoliating! I used to use an exfoliating scrub but baking soda makes your skin feel sooooo much softer and and feels like it leaves your skin smoother for longer.

I have been epilating for about 2 months now and using this guide for about 1 month now. Currently I have went 4 days without doing anything to my legs apart from the lemon juice and coconut oil moisturizer (so this means no baking soda or epilating) and my leg hair looks and feels how it feels 24 hours after shaving, so it does work :D My hair is so fine and light now and it took less than a month. I did forget to mention in the guide though that the only downside to this way is that you will usually feel small hairs, even after epilating, just because there may be some hairs that are to small that haven't grown enough for the epilator to pick up so it leaves them behind, so you will never have that "right after shaving" feeling, which I am fine with to not have to shave every other day!

I would also like to correct one of my mistakes in the guide.

I am unsure why I said 1/2 a cup of Baking Soda and 1/2 a cup of Water, that is wrong and the mixture wont turn out good.

The CORRECT measurement is 1/4 a cup of Baking Soda mixed with 1 Tablespoon of water. Mix it with your finger well and it should feel somewhat like wet sand, just a lot finer.
I will dip 2 fingers in and lather it all over 1 leg at a time, until it is all gone and on my legs.

But I would like to post some pictures!

My camera makes them look horrible even if it is horrible quality :'(! But I Exfoliated/Epilated yesterday (which shows you how quick the irritated red dots heal), and all's I did today was My Coconut Oil + Lemon Juice Moisturizer. I wish I had before pictures, but you can see they are completely hairless. The red marks on my thighs (seen in the first picture) are unfortunately scars from ingrown hairs back when I was shaving, but they are healing and fading quite quickly! You can see my strawberry legs are only visible when close up (seen in the second picture) and I would have to say have faded probably 75%. And then you can also see that the marks around my legs are slowly blending into my natural skin tone (seen in the third picture mostly, the big red marks that are on each of my legs happened today at work unfortunately :( so they are quite new). You can also see how my skin glows, which is partially because of the Coconut Oil. The biggest difference in my skin tone changing that I have noticed though has definitely got to be my knees! They have gotten so much lighter it's amazing!

So there you have my progress! Again, I do not plan on transitioning or taking hormones (at least for now), so this is pure Male skin, which shows how some serious tender love and care can make them start looking feminine!

I love the schedule you put on your guide. It makes it easier for someone disorganized like me to follow. I am on week 3 now. I did my upper thighs so I could hide under my shorts, but finally broke down and shaved my whole legs so now with the oil and all. The only problem with the oil is the fact that where i keep it, sometimes it gets too hot and when I go to use it well it is somewhat soupy. Hard to use when it is liquid, lol. So i will continue to do this method, i love it!!!

Lovely! I'm getting my legs done with laser atm, but the exfoliating tip is great! I too use a charcoal/sugar rub, which smells lovely but isn't cheap.

One question... is there any reason not to use the baking soda on other areas? Arms? Face? Boobs?

Thank you!
