Ok so not sure if this should be here or not but

Is anyone else getting crippling testicle pains? It comes and goes but definitely been getting worse. Today my right side hurt for a good hour. Right now there is some pain in both.

I'm really hoping the urologist' office can finagle insurance coverage for an orchidectomy. This pain is starting to be a real problem for me.

I had that for several months, starting shortly after going on Spiro.  It happened less and less often as time went by and I don't remember anything in the past 6 months.

As they said in the classic Seinfeld episode, "There was shrinkage!"

Thanks Michelle. It's good to know it's at least normal.  :(

Well, some discomfort is expected. If it is stronger, or interfering with daily activities I'd still want to check it out.

Ain't nothin about our experience that's "normal". [emoji6]

I had that when I first went on hrt but I thought it was just because they didn't like being tucked.

After a year "they" seem to have... adjusted... to 24/7 tuckage. Yay shapewear  and spiro!

I'm pretty sure my twinges were from shrinkage and tension on connective tissue. After a little while the tucking s s shape ware became the most comfortable way to go, and seemed to relieve the soreness.

Have you tried continuous tucking? Tucking was very uncomfortable at first but after about a week of 2/47 tucking I got used to it and it didn't hurt anymore. After 2 years of constant tucking it's totally uncomfortable if I am not tucked now. I can't stand having stuff in the way down there now.

It's not the pain Julia that bothers me. It's not that bad.
It's the size... Like high waisted jeans that are so cute I can't get away with, it's impossible

Estradiol and Androcur left me with very noticeable shrinkage..

HRT had caused enough atrophy that I was in constant pain for months leading up to my bilateral orchiectomy. Happily, there has been no pain since.

Well when it hits it really hits hard. I have found an Urologist in St. Louis who does orchis for trans-women. As my endocrinologist said "all the time". I spoke with the lady in the office last week and she is trying to get some way for my insurance company to cover it. I have a BCBS policy from Mississippi so nothing trans related is normally covered. If I could buy my own policy from BCBS Illinois I could get anything covered, even GCS but for now The individual policy price and the whole ACA income tax credit towards policy premiums being about to be destroyed by the right wing nuts  >:( leaves me with no other option but to keep the MS policy through my employer.  :(

The pain is really getting too bad to keep my on road driving time safe. When I have to lean over the steering wheel on my employer's Kenworth service truck driving down the interstate because of the pain, I need something done. I can't be safe and be crippled with that kind of pain.

Some of that is probably posture, and possibly pelvic tilt. As you get used to it and strengthen muscles it goes away as well. They body will find a way to adapt...
At what point did my life go Looney Tunes? How did it happen? Who's to blame?... Batman, that's who. Batman! It's always been Batman! Ruining my life, spoiling my fun! >:-)

You need to go immediately to a urologist, and I really MEAN IMMEDIATELY! After spending 30 years as a paramedic in NYC, I will tell you that you may be suffering from a very serious condition, very possibly aggravated by the HRT you are currently using.

Well that just fired up my anxiety. What might cause it? I am going to call again and see if they have any new information for me.

Everyone has the ability to absorb estrogen in whatever manner thinkable. But what the body does with it is as individual a medical "footprint" as can be imagined. And remember; I was a Paramedic, an EMT-4. I wasn't a Doctor, a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician's Assistant. My ability to make a "rule-out diagnosis" is limited to my training and experience, and is conditional as per all signs and symptoms personally observed in the patient upon examination.
If I were there, I could do a much more complete job. But here I will limit myself to saying that while the pain observed could well be nothing, or could be just physical stress from shrinkage, it would be the height of irresponsibility for me not to advise anyone feeling this kind of pain in the area of the groin to go to the doctor. Please make an appointment and go! And my best wishes are with you, as are my prayers.
