Hi Everyone,

This was published in the news in Australia in May.

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-05-09/testosterone-could-key-creating-more-targeted-asthma-treatment/8509198

I have been on HRT since March and this worst season ever for controlling my Asthma. At my last blood test I had testoterone of .02. 10% of the average female. I have been taking Androcur in reasonable doses. Has anyone experiences difficultly in controlling their asthma since starting HRT?

Cheers,
Sarah

I've had asthma as long as I've been transgender....

Seriously though, the only difference I've seen is that due to the fact I've lost 30+ pounds I've got less weight to move around.  Because of that...my asthma isn't as problematic.

I don't think it will affect that much as asthma treatment. It may be better to talk to a doctor for asthma control (if it's not well controlled). For example, In the U.S if you are already on albuterol and still happen to have asthma attack more than twice in one week, your asthma is not well controlled and may need to step up your treatment regimen.
