I am going to play devil's advocate here but I feel you should conside this: Going the cost effective way is perhaps the most risky approach for finding a plastic surgeon. I understand some of us are on a budget however I am a firm believer that we should never put a price on our face, our bodies, on ourselves. You have to remember a surgeon who is highly sought after would not have to lower his prices because he is in demand.

Many of my friends who went to surgeons simply because it is cheaper ended up requiring revisions which cost more money not just for the procedure but also for flights and accommodation. Not to mention that if you get botched by a surgeon, depending on the nature of the mistake, it is not advisable to go back to him. You would then want to select a more reputable and thus more expensive surgeon but would have to end incurring revision costs.

In Thailand there is also A LOT of GPs (general practitioner) masquerading as plastic surgeons because it is legal for them to do so depending on the procedure. They may market themselves as plastic surgeons but they are really GPs.

Anyways in my opinion it is better to wait, save up and entrust your face and your body to a reputable surgeon with a low margin of error.
