Coming out letter. - For Work

I hope this is the right place to post this.

Iv been working on this for a few weeks now and got it to a point that i'm 99% happy with it.
Would love some feedback on what people think of it?? and also any grammatical errors you find

Dear Colleagues,

I am writing this to tell you about a matter that will have a small impact with regards to your work environment. Over the next several months you will notice (if you haven't already) some changes in my appearance as I undergo a Gender transition process.

I'm very pleased to be able to take this step while staying at a job I have found very rewarding and that has a very supportive environment and I look forward to a time when I no longer have two identities to juggle.

Outside of work, I am already going by "Tymara Jade Bxxxx" which is what I intend to officially change my name to as part of this process. I also already have had my legal gender designation changed from male to female.

Some of you may not understand the changes that I'm undertaking and some of you may not approve of what I'm doing; that is your right. However, I ask that everyone continue to treat me with respect and not discriminate me because of this choice. I would be happy to answer your questions or direct you to additional information if you wish.

Until my official name change is sorted out which unfortunately doesn't happen overnight.  I will continue to go by Tynan when dealing with customers so that all my documents ID cards etc match but I would ask that moving forward people start using my preferred name Tymara (pronounced Tamara) or the shortened version Mara when referring to me or about me. I would also ask that people begin using female pronouns i.e she & her from now on. As part of this transition I will also begin using the correct amenity's for my gender upon return from leave on Monday 21/08/2017

I know this will take a little time to get used to, and I expect that people will make mistakes at first. All I ask is that you try to get it right.

Good letter, Tammy Jade.  One tiny nit:  "correct amenity's" should be spelled "correct amenities".

I like it and I think it is very simple yet thorough!
I have a side question, I am graduating soon but how do I come out to my interviewer if all my legal documents are still showing my given name as Johnny? Does anyone encounter situation like this before or has heard from someone who came out during their interview?

Either use your new name on the resume and explain situation if they want to see your diploma, or use your old name and ask them to call you Jimmie going forward (explain the situation).

Your better bet would be to legally change your name before the graduation. Then you can get diploma issued (or reissued if after graduation) into the correct name. You don't need surgeries to be completed to change a name
