Hello, my name is Sean. I'm a big supporter and ally of the trans community. I'm bisexual and tried for 3 years to get a local community for bisexuals focused on support and socialising up and running in Denver. It didn't work, bisexuals just don't show up. During that time I met a few trans women. Two had joined the group and a few others joined us one night when they recognized one of the members of the group who was also volunteering at the local LGBTQ  community center. I was deeply affected by these women and their stories. Some were struggling with theirs trans identities. Other were happy they could finally be themselves. As a bisexual male I can empathize with the struggle to accept a biological reality you didn't want and the bliss one can achieve when you do finally accept and love yourself the way you are. I came to Susan's Place to let you there are many people like me who love and support you. You seem to be the target du jour but keep your chins up. A better world is coming.

Welcome to Susan's Place. Everybody is welcome here including those who wish to learn more about us or just want to enjoy friendly conversation.

A fair portion of the community is bisexual but sometimes it gets a little confusing. Many members remain with their original spouse/sexual preference but some have a change in sexual preference during the transition. We suspect it could be the result of suppression of their bisexuality and the transition allowed them to experience their true sexual preference.

I hope to see more of you on the forum as you might be able to offer another outlook on some of the conversations.

I am MTF and I am in a steady bisexual relationship - I have been dating a wonderful male/female married couple for 14 months.  They are not transgender but they are incredibly supportive.  Several people in their network of their friends are transgender, in some cases an almost "oh by the way" topic as we are all just people.
