I'm over 18 months in and they're still looking like cones. They grow when I use progesterone tho :D
Trying to take it one day at a time :)

Rounding out takes forever (skinny girl here) mine took almost 3 years

UPDATE!

so mine have rounded even more due to starting the process of lactation earlier this year. It's matured my breasts even more, way more than they were when I lasted posted this. I managed to achieve it with nothing more than manual hand stimulation. But I was already stage 4 when I started this and it seems like they're getting into stage 5 fully, like the 2nd mound has been slowly fading away.

Update!

Mine grew since I made this thread. I had started progesterone like 2 months ago and my breasts have gotten to stage 4 and a small B cup. Currently 9.5 months on hormones.

At less than 3 months out, growth has slowed but is definitely still happening at 8 months.

Hi girls it's Shannon.  The pointy fairy is everywhere but rounding does happen. For me within six to nine months where they looked truly feminine

I'm an A right now but they r cone shaped. Wen did yalls round out?

It's interesting how people differ- I'm still only an AA, but I guess my breasts are round in that they are pendulous, i.e. due to gravity, a vetical cross section would show that the radius on the upper side is distinctly larger than the radius on the lower side, I can bounce them up and down with my hand, and I have to wear a sports bra when I run.

Interesting thread.  10 months on HRT and I'm at an A cup.  I'm on the skinny side.  Growth has been slow, yet seem to have started to round. Not as cone shaped as during the first few months.  Anxious for more growth.

I have to wonder what has happened to me, since the most I managed is an A+ cup, still pointed, even after 18 years.  I had been on a constant dosage (estradiol) all these years, and I'm trying out the cyclical dosage (going from oral to transbuccal at the same time) to see if things improve.  Next month, I will ask the doctor about going on micronized progesterone and cycling that as well.  I notice that my aerolas would puff up and grow a little bigger, and I would get some breast tissue, cone-shaped, of course, and then it would stop there.  I need to see if the cycling helps, which it appears to help so far.  I'm having to readjust my arm movements because the breasts are getting in the way.  I hope that I DO round out.  When I was a kid and getting interested in girls' bodies, I got to see what a friend of mine's chest looked like (bigger than an A cup, but her nipples were still smallish) - she was already rounded out, like a puffed out Tanner stage 2, but before she got rounded on the undersides.

I know this hasn't been posted on in a very long time but I'm taking a shot....Just curious a year later to see if everyone who was hoping to round out actually did. I have somewhat huge man boobs from previous stops and starts on HRT and am hoping that by starting again - and maybe getting progesterone this time - rounding will actually happen and I won't just have this saggy flab on me. So please! Give me reason to hope!

If I do start progesterone can I take spironolactone with it or can I only take estradiol and progesterone? Also when would be a good time to start with progesterone cause I don't want to start it too early.

Progesterone ought to be started right away. There is no reason not to. In cis girls it rises and falls every cycle just like estrogen does. There is no good reason not to take it and several possible bad reasons if you don't.

My endo asked me if I wanted P the day I told him I was ready for transition dose of E. I did 3months on medroxyprogesterone. Now I take bioidenticle micronized progesterone. For me it totally leveled out my emotions. No more feeling out of whack is my best analogy. My breasts no longer ache. They do seem like they grow out a bit, more cone shaped, then fill around some. They are still growing but sometimes I wonder. I wear sports bras of a couple different styles so I don't really have a good idea of size now. There's enough to fill my hand. I'd love to see them about double their current size someday so they look more fitting to my frame size. That and they'd show more if I loose a bunch of belly fat. Being injured for the last 8 weeks isn't helping in that dept. I've gained another 15 lbs and it's all around my waist. I want to kick this spiro habit sooner rather than later.

A lifetime of depression and repressed emotions is nothing more than existence. I for one want to live now not just exist!

Thanks so much for your thoughts, Angelique! Good to know people were still noticing this thread. And good to know that progesterone did what I would hope it does for me. You've given me hope. I should show you a shot of my moobs to see if you think that I've got a shot at all this chest flab become actual sizable boobs. I have a pretty thin waist and stomach so I'm not sure how weird it'd look to have sizable boobs but I'd hope progesterone might also add to my hips and butt. Have you found that as well?

Mine have rounded pretty well now at 17 months (probably started rounding around 12 months). Also recently beginning to get pendulous and overhang my chest wall a tiny bit (I am not sure how I feel about that). I am C-cup even though all the bra websites keep insisting I am D or DD. B and C-cup bras fit well...

I know I've said it before but I am envious those results. I know big boobs bring a whole new set of problems but....I kind of feel like I'd prefer the problem of trying to hide boobs I"ve always wanted than my current problem of not being who I wish I was. If that makes sense....

Well, I can actually get myself to look like I am just an A or B-cup if I dress right. But I am beginning to hate wearing these baggy shirts. You're right -- always trying to hide to some degree. I am convincing myself to care less and less every day, though. But it's my burden to bear..... :)

I had significant glandular development from many years of spiro before starting HT, about a 2" differential between band and bust measurements. During month four and part of month five on HT, I had significant swelling that increased the differential to about 4". I'm nearing month 10 and that swelling has persisted, but I haven't seen much change.

Maybe I'm being a little dense, I don't know, but I'm not sure that I understand what "rounding out" means to everyone. My breasts seem pretty rounded out on the bottom half but I wish they were "fuller" on the upper half. I found some graphics on Google images of different breast shapes but didn't know if it was permissible to post them since they depict nipples and areolae.

I have never measured but I believe I have about an inch and a half of man boob, bust over band. Is that a normal starting point? If not, is that a good sign for development? You grew 2 inches in about a month? That seems incredibly satisfying, although probably kind of painful too. I'm assuming that becomes hard to hide at a certain point....As for "rounding out," I just mean that they don't just look like the man boobs a guy gets when going from fat to thin. That there's shape to them. I would love to see the pics you found and share what I look like now pre-HRT to get your thoughts. I'm nervous that I'm just going to be stuck with this ugly man boobs and they won't get shape. Not sure if I can post them publicly and don't know how to get them to you via PM but if you want to PM me, we can maybe figure it out.....

I started all 3 at the same time. Changed E to pellets after 2 months. After a while you may be able to stop spiro. And about a year in is when they started to round out.

The swelling started in the fourth month of HT and went on for about a month and a half. And, no, it wasn't painful. I haven't experienced any of the tender/painful nipples/breast buds that many note. As I mentioned, I'm pretty sure that I had glandular tissue and not just fatty tissue, so I started out HT with breast buds that I described at the time to be like slightly smashed boiled eggs. It happened so fast, it was kinda remarkable to me, but I had already been living full time for over a year so there wasn't that much of an impact. I had, and still have an uneasy feeling they may deflate just as quickly. lol  Actually, it sounds like more than it really is. A 40D bra has a cup that is way too big. My best fitting bra is a 40NB although in the mornings it's a little too filled.

All the best,
