Guess it's intro time since I have used resources here more than a few times pre-HRT and in my 20 months since strting HRT. I'm Christy, 40... ish, I'm just me is all. Happy, stable (for now), working and finishing my Bachelors (Software engineering/database analytics) basically I am just chilling. Kind of a fitness nut also (from 12 years in the Marines) running, aerobics, biking, pilates, yoga 5 days a week and veg out on the weekends. I am not full-time YET, even though I should be (according to my plans), I took lessons from those before me and I choose to make work as stable as possible while I did everything else, so boy mode at work only which comes with some interesting challenges. I have been working the same job (maintaining my cover) through all the changes that come with HRT (binding, baggy clothes, 3 layers even in Arizona summer), all the appointments for laser hair removal (it's gone YEA), Dr visits, FFS consults, all that fun stuff. FFS is coming up later in the year and that I don't plan to hide (or think I could). I don't really have a fool proof plan with that and work life, just a plan, not fool proof, so I made sure to save up enough money to keep me afloat for awhile if everything goes south, which I don't think it will but better safe. So yea, that's that, Hiya *waves.

Thanks and thanks!

Susan's was actually my first bookmark and resource relating to transition, so yea. It may seem I have a plan and I like to think I do but the universe loves plans for it's own humor and mine gets modified it seems constantly. The plan I am on now is a better plan, I think,  but I laugh at how far off from my original plan it really is. If it all went as planned I guess it wouldn't be a journey, just a stroll.

Welcome Christy!

Everything sounds just dandy for you, and that's great! Being emotionally and financially stable does make a huge difference during this journey. There are too many other things to have to focus on. Well done!

See you around!

Welcome to Susan's Place. Three layers of clothes after the weather we have been having over the last couple of months. I thought I liked it warm but I am running around in a T top and short pants. Hopefully you can come out shortly however it looks like it's going to be much cooler when you do. In any case, let me know if there is anything I can help you with.
