I'm post op ( orchi) always will be on E. I been a Tom boy and now that I moved from Hawaii to Mountains in California I been telling people my name is Brad not Anela . I look more like an androgynous rocker than anything else.
I cannot get a GF and so many people ignore me. Our bigoted world makes our lives so hard to live. I'm tired but at the same time, I don't want to live in this world....

Why did you start calling yourself brad?
And what do you mean when you say bigoted?

Detransition would mean that you are reverting back to male. I doubt that it what is happening. Physically, you might experience menopause if you stop E, because you already had your orchi. If you are calling yourself "Brad", there is something else going on that I am not qualified to help you with. I know that when I was living in the California mountains (Georgetown), people were extremely bigoted. That is why I left from there to start my transition. Where you live can make a difference.

I would like to give advice and I will try should you accept, but your paragraph is kinda slopped together. How did this happen, why from start to finish and where do you see whatever you are doing going forward in the future?

I don't know much about your own process, since I'm a non-transitioning, nonbinary, partial transmale who lives as an androgyne.

To me, of course, you seem fine. Possibly just taking a breather from being insulted and misgendered.

Hi Anela,

I love that name. Have you been using "Brad" as a way to not be threatened by the locals you seem to fear? So sorry. You have had a rough journey. Are you able to hold down a job now or too injured from your fall?

You are in our thoughts. I don't know that this is de-transition. Seems more like a misstep and stumble. Any way to get to a more accepting area? There is still a lot of fear and prejudice but as a whole our country surprises me how more accepting parts are. We still have challenges in pockets. Seems like moving again could help you mentally and as you must know, a mental help becomes a physical help as well(just think of when you started hormones or your description of how right it felt after your surgery).

I hope things get better.

Please keep coming back if you can.

With warmth,

Jacqueline

I give myself a male name to avoid confusion and rumors. But I'm still me....
