Today the biggest head of Canadian conservatism has stepped down. Premier Brad Wall has in recent years rivaled former Prime Minister Stephen Harper and former Minister of Forgien Affairs (equivalent to US Secretary of Sate) John Baird (who was very progressive on LGBT) for strong backing amongst the right and has outshined current Conservative leader and former Speaker of the House Andrew Scheer. Primer Wall was elected in 2007 as Saskatchewan's Premier. At first many people in the LGBT circle worried about his stances on our rights. When first elected he seemed to voice some support over a bill that would be able to allow marriage commissoners a right to decline wedding gay couples. Over the years however, his government did take steps in a positve direction. His governemnt did seem to support anti-bullying measures agasint LGBT years later and some in governemnt showed support for GSA's. Premier Walls governemnt also started to increase transition related surgeries funding in recent years.

Now, who takes over the reins and where does we go form here? All I hope is the Conservative Party in Saskatchewan continues to accept trans folk as we get more polticizied from all over
