HUGE step- Set my name change court date!

Yesterday my Endocrinologist gave me his letter of approval for the legal name and gender change, and today I filed it with the Superior Court here in my county- AND got the fee waved! They set my court date for the 25th of September, so in a month and a half I will legally be Macy and have all my gender markers changed to female This is a huge step and I am so happy to be doing it... Finally I will legally be recognized by my proper name and gender!

Congrats Macy!  I just did mine as well.  Not going to lie, I'm a little scared of facing the 69 year old republican judge at the appearance.

Congrats, Macy!  I was nervous going into mine earlier this year, but got a huge smile from the judge as he granted to judgment. I hope yours goes just as well, and that you have the lovely day that I did.
