Testosterone can't realistically cause a person over the age of 20-22 to grow any (except maybe sideways). I have heard all the reasons why. I agree with that premise.
However, I have had two medical staff (a nurse and phlebotomist) when I give them my height say that I seem taller than that. And with the second one, since he asked me, "How tall do you like to say you are?" instead of "How tall are you?" I fudged it an extra inch, and yes, he still said I seem taller than that. Doesn't make it so, but it sure makes me feel better about my size.
Maybe my binder is giving me better posture. Maybe I carry myself differently now/on T. Maybe my shoes have thicker soles. Maybe the people in this city are shorter on average and that skews their perspective.
Whatever it is, the reaction makes me feel a lot better about myself.
For the record, I'm between 5' 1 1/2" and 5' 2".
