I have a really stupid question to ask but I really need to know, any one who has had full SRS & had ( as moni would put it, her Clyde) confiscated  do you have phantom feelings, like people who have lost a limb, do you for the first feel weeks like like your penis & testis are still there!
Just being a nosey woman.

I'm 3 years post op...have never had a feeling it was still there.

My hubby cracked a funny line a year ago...when I commented how much I do around the house. I said "is there anything I can't do?" He said "you can't pee standing up!"

   I am so proud of you 'all startin threads everywhere and stuff.'  I love it my friend. I am actually able to give a bit of an answer here. I don't feel like Clyde and his play toys are still there. I will get an itch or pain in a place my mind identified as a certain place before, but now I have no idea where to scratch. I do get a feeling sometimes  like there is an erection going on, which is impossible, but something changes, the nerve kind of sticks out some. I almost get that feeling like I think I shouldn't stand up for fear of a bulge, but there isn't one. The funny thing is, out of habit, the other day I automatically reached down to my abdomen and started shaking my hand up and down like I was gonna shake out the last pee drops from the hose. I busted into a big silly grin.

When I was in the hospital just after GCS I had a dull ach from where my gonads were. The ach lasted 2 days.

I still have my whole glands penis (penile head) and very often I feel like my head is engorged with blood. Usually when I have thoughts or see someone attractive. I had a few nerve firings that felt like the glands penis had an itch. Since I still have it I guess I had an itch. After I had my clitoral covering in place the feelings down there are amplified times 10 or 20.

For the most part, all the nerves are still there. Almost all of the skin was recycled and the glans was retained. For the first couple of year things that weren't where they were supposed to be itched and you wanted to scratch air but that was a case of the brain not being aware of the proper location of things. The erection feeling was the result of the glans having an erection just as it did before. While the glans is still fully functional, what was between it and the body is missing with the exception of the nerve and blood supply.
