So I went to Births Deaths and Marriages on the last Wednesday (9/8/17) with my  psychologist and submitted my paperwork for my name Change and Gender change and they told me assuming they didn't need to follow anything up (apparently that happens to a couple of people recently) it would take 4-6weeks.

Got my new birth certificate back yesterday, and it was sent on the 15th, I almost fell over in shock.. when the sa gov said 4-6 weeks I was expecting 6-8 in all honesty not 4 business days. Not that I'm complaining but OMG here is was telling HR it would be a few weeks before we even had to think about my official name change.

Now comes the fun of updating everything next week!!
