Bracelets too small

I am not big on jewelry, but I am trying to warm up to it, and one thing I tend to be okay with is bracelets. Being an ex-male I have bigger wrists. Most stuff in the stores is cis sized.  Any ideas for finding appropriate stuff. I am not a fan of chains. I am weird, what can I say.

Try wrapping necklaces around a few times.  Pearls can look nice, and simple gold chains. Also, my former dentist used to sell these beaded wrap-around bracelets, let me find a link or photo of one.  They easily fit my wrists, which are huuuuge.  You might be able to find some charm bracelets that fit.  I got one for my Alice in Wonderland costume (don't ask) that's adjustable and fits me with room to spare.

You need "plus sized" bracelets.
Skip the regular stores.
Try "plus sized" stores or shop online.

  I was thinking of trying anklets but those are usually chains, I don't have your persnickety restrictions. Really my dear you must try to be a little more flexible. Take me for instance I thrive on being flexible. Some might even call it controlled chaos. Okay okay I call it controlled chaos.

And rings , not tried any solid style bracelets but chains only just fit , my mum needs extensions on hers .

For jewelry, I find Amazon a good place to shop. You can get them in YOUR size. Most brick and mortar stores do not carry bracelets to fit a 8 inch wrist, or any rings in half sizes, let alone size 10.5. Nor will they sell titanium, which I like because it's hypoallergenic and inexpensive.

I'm sure you'll find one in the right size if you shop around enough, measure your wrist and have a look on Amazon or something, you could get yourself a custom made one if you're really struggling although I doubt you'll come up empty handed if you keep on looking.

Go to Kohls, etc. Shop the fashion jewelry. Find a bracelet that stretches, compare to others that stretch, buy the biggest diameter ones.

I went through a similar thing... first set of bracelets I got, was so happy, but opened them up, could barely get them on... they were too tight even after being on. Best to measure the circumference of your wrist and shop for something with specs at the right size. That's what i did... got stuff online that worked. Online is a great way to filter based on sizes... you can usually see who will have something and otherwise. Some stores also have decent inexpensive stuff with stretchy bands ... those aren't bad for casual day stuff... not elegant if you're a jewelry connoisseur but workable.

I had a similar issue with anklets... so I measured circumference and looked online based on that... but my best anklet came from me going to a store that sells bead and chain to make your own stuff... and I made a decent anklet I loved. You can probably do the same for bracelets. Doing basic simple work with pliers and chains/beads/trinkets and whatnot is not inaccessible is all I'm saying. I enjoyed the process and that's where my fav anklet / necklace came from.

Side note... I'm not huge on jewelry either... I think understated (not gaudy) brushed silver tone works best for me. Gaudy and shiny never seems to fit... always seems like i'm trying too hard... I feel more fem in the brushed silver tone.

When I wanted to wear a femme watch I had to make my own strap (kangaroo leather worked well) if I wanted jewelry at this point, I'd probably just make my own, we have a nice facility for soft metals work in our forge facility.

Possibly like many people when they get free I started to buy jewellery and was a little disappointed in style and cost. My boyfriend at the time suggested that I was wasting money and that if I was serious about liking jewellery I should either design it or have it designed and made.

I thought about that and had a bracelet designed and made. The only time is has left my wrist was when I have been in surgery. My ring is designed by me and it is always on me and my favourite earrings were designed by me.

I thought it would be too expensive to contemplate but it hasn't been, especially as each piece is very special to me and has deep emotional attachment. In many ways that is what your favourite pieces should be.

Have I saved to or lost money on this? I'm not sure. I have to admit I bought stuff that I fancied and I never wear and of course it is worthless to resell, no matter what I paid for it (jewellery has an even greater mark up cost than cars). The pieces I have had made have cost quite a bit but I would never part from them.

I have fairly skinny wrists, so I don't have that problem. Well, there is one item I have trouble with. It's a gold charm bracelet that belonged to my grandmother, it has a charm on every link and weighs a ton. I also got a ring from her, which I had to have resized, as it didn't fit. 13 square cut Burmese sapphires in white gold.. Needed a fair chunk added.

All my life, even as a kid, I had these tiny wrists. When it came to watches, I needed to find a woman's watch so it would fit, almost. A men's forget it! take out halve the links and maybe.

Bracelets, forget about it with most women's bracelets being slip on. With my GIANT frog hands hardly anything can slip over my gigantic hand to nestle around my tiny wrists. You know how most women's hands are barely wider then their wrist.... Think 2x for me 

About all my bracelets have some sort of a latch, or the more fun ones are elastic.

Torrid has some bracelets for larger wrists. That's one of the few places I can find them that fit me. Most of it is on the cheap side, but some decent stuff. Stiff can't find bangles that fit though.

Wiki has the below for bracelets:

Standard Bracelet Sizes.
Extra Small XS ~ fits 6.5 inches = small woman's wrist.
Small S ~ fits 7 inches = average woman's wrist.
Medium M ~ fits 8 inches = average man's wrist or woman with large wrist.

Charming Charlie has bracelets in S, M, L.

My wrists are 6.75 inches. I would guess I would go to the Charming Charlie store and try them on to verify fit. I would assume a large would fit me but trying them on would be best.

I wouldn't wear jewelry at all! I was afraid of outing myself. Now I cant wear enough! I am blessed in the hands and wrist department, both cis women size hooray! Don't have my ears pierced yet bummer.

Try Torrid, they have jewelry for plus size women which includes bracelets that tend to run larger.

I used to wear bracelets, but nowadays I just wear a watch.  If you get a nice looking bracelet-style watch, it kind of doubles as a bracelet.  My everyday watch/bracelet is a Citizen Axiom in silver with a plain white face.  It's really beautiful and looks a lot like a Movado watch but without the huge pricetag.  For a watch that really looks like a bracelet you can look into styles like the Citizen Silhouette.
