Hi girls 🙋🏼  I went to my first group meeting, thought it was very helpful.  A gal from Susan's was there and she made me feel at home.  I feel more comfortable continuing my journey knowing that there are so many variations of humans no one is wrong in who they see themselves as, or how far a road they take.

Hi Jessica,

I'm happy for you that you had a positive group experience. And yes they can be very helpful and supportive in you get in the right ones. Sounds like you might have. And how could it be less than positive with one of our girls er two of our girls in it?

Hugs,
   Laurie

You got it  :D there is no one way to be trans ...women come in all shapes and sizes and so do men...I am glad the meeting went so well. You should follow it up as soon as you are able, I found it helped enormously with my confidence and it may help you as well. You will know when and where to stop...enjoy your next outing...

The fear of passing that doorway...  I still get emotional!
you know how far the universe extends outward? i think i go inside just as deep.

10/11/18 - out to the whole world.  100% friends and family support.
11/6/17 - came out to sister, best day of my life
9/5/17 - formal diagnosis and stopping DIY in favor if prescribed HRT
6/18/17 - decided to stop fighting the trans beast, back on DIY.
Too many ups and downs, DIY, purges of self inbetween dates.
Age 10 - suppression and denial began
Age 8 - knew I was different

Awesome, Jessica! I'm going to begin looking for a group in my area. I'm going to ask my gender therapist tomorrow if she can recommend one. There is a local TG resource Website that lists some groups, but I want to make sure I attend the right one. Thanks for sharing the encouraging news!
Finding 'self' is the first step toward becoming 'self'. Every step is part of a journey. May your journey lead to happiness. Peace!

Good for you Tommie 🙋🏼  Talking to others that are in similar situations (everyone is different) is so good to lift the weight we all have off of our shoulders.  How ironic, while lifting that weight we add it back with breasts.
