So my 2 best friends have been like brothers to me for a LONG time; one for 20 years, the other for ten, and I just came out to them... I told them I was transitioning to a girl, and I couldn't be their brother anymore... And they both said "Brother or sister, it doesn't matter. We still love you." And I lost it. :')

It sure is! I was afraid I'd lose them... Told them if they didn't want to have anything to do with me I'd understand... But they are sticking with me! I'm so happy! They're calling me "Sis" & "Jess/Jessi/Jessica" now too, tho my given name of "Jesse" isn't much of a stretch, lol. Just hope my Mom comes around...
