Hello,
So I was wondering has anyone gone the private option rather than the NHS?
How much did it roughly cost??

SRS in the UK as private is 12,500. I'm 15 weeks post op and feel great and it looks great by Phil Thomas.
It's totally worth it too.
I saved 3K and got a loan out for the rest that I pay back monthly.

It cost me around £500 in total. Then I went to get my T prescription and blood tests from my GP. I went to Transhealth which is closing soon; so I'm not sure if that practice is more expensive than other options like Gender Care or Gender Gp. It also depends on how many therapy sessions you're recommended.
Good thing is you only have to be tight with your budget for a few months in order to get your HRT prescription. Then your GP can take over your care while you wait for your GIC appointment.
They/them pronouns preferred.
