I went to Gender Odessey this weekend with many more questions than answers. Now I have them and I won't be questioning my gender any longer. To find out who you are and how you got there over 65 years was daunting. But the best part was how much support was in the room. Most presentations had 50-60 people attend. Some with as many a 300. In total over 1300 attended. Programs for providers was covered on Wed. and Thurs and then families and the trans communtiy did their things. I went with a head full of mush and came home thinking like a like a transwoman. I am so so lucky to be able to attend, and I want to thank my new friend Eviey and her wife Michelle for their generosity. It was a fortuitous support meeting at Ingersoll Gender Center about 5 months ago. It all started with a hug from a total stranger who is not a stranger any more. I wore my new shoes from Shoes of Prey size 14 and they fit perfectly. They are comfortable and just plain beautiful. I wish Chris could have gone. Heck I wish all of you could go. I met some of the nicest, sweetest people. I'm just glad I can appreciate them. I am so escaping my shell and it is truely liberating. I've always been a loving person with a secret.
