Sorry for posting so much or should I not apologize?
I have a feeling of TRUE happiness after discovering I am transgender.
The most I felt in my whole life. Is that a normal feeling? I have depression and have not felt any since
finding out. That moment you realize who you really are and that your journey of self discovery is at an end and
you will transform into who you really are and want to be.

 Hi Max,

Oh we don't mind frequent posting. We want to know what is going on with you and lend you what support we can if you need it. I will offer you a small suggestion for you to consider. Some of us have settled on a single thread that we can use to tell other what we are doing, bothered about, planning or just to share our thoughts. Sort of an open running account of who you are and what is going on with you. My here I go again is mine and grew out of a post I made as I was approaching my first therapy assessment before getting a referral to a gender therapist. The I posted my concern about that and it just turn into my story.
Give it a thought. that is what worked for me.

Hugs,
   Laurie

Ever since I've accepted and embraced the fact that I'm transgender (quite recently), I've been much happier.  I know that I am still a ways from where I want to be, but I can at least take comfort in knowing who I am.  In fact, I feel like, all of a sudden, I don't fear the future as much, and am really excited to see where my journey goes.

Yesterday, I described to my therapist that it feels like I'm going into the first day of college.  Things are different, I'm excited and happy, but I have I have a long road ahead of me before I get my diploma.

But yes, Max, I feel the same way.  I've been mich happier since realizing I'm trans.

Thanks for sharing and letting me know others feel this way too. I have been a lot more confident and smiling a lot more too. I finally know what is up with myself and who I am as I said.

It is a peace I haven't known before. I also hope my posts help others in the future. I plan to help others in some way
in my life.

Since accepting the truth about myself & starting to transition, I've never been happier in my life. A weight that's been around my neck for 30+ years without me knowing it is gone now. I've gone from depressed, angry, & scared, to happy & cheerful. I smile most of the time now (it was pretty rare before).
