I am not sure if its my firewall or what but I find access to the site blocked most days.

Its difficult to contribute when you only have random access.

perhaps some one can identify the problem as I am relatively new

We block tor, and block other hosts which spam us, or hosts of users who cause problems. I don't think we have blocked your host intentionally. If you are attempting to use tor I can only suggest connecting directly. We are very protective of our user's personal information.

I also have a few connection problems, but it is fine if I close and restart the internet browser.

Hi Barbie, when you click on the post button and it  doesn't work, like it's frozen up, I just click off the Susan's website off completely and bring back a new session. If worst come to worst rebooting the computer will do the trick as well.

Yes. Causes of connection problem could be numbered thousands, but in my case, I am certain that some security restrictions on the network were related, because I also have the same problem in other sites which heavily use cookies and others. I found that this problem could be minimized in networks that are managed by popular internet providers such as verizon in the case of U.S.

Hi Barbie
Could it be something to do with which browser you are using. I mean if you are on Mozilla Firefox try changing to Internet explorer. or visa versa. That's about the limit of computer terminology.

Anyway if I continue to fare forward I may end up falling over a cliff into a dusty old gulch, "oooooooouch!"

Disregard my last sentence, I do think the Id in me hath awakened. ;D

Hello Kay and welcome to Susan's. In addition to what the others have said an easy check might be to look at your internet security settings. You should be 'allowing' cookies from this site, and security should be on medium in the case of IE. That said I've stuck with Mozilla 1.7.13 but had issues with IE 7 so left mine on IE 6. Cookies can play a major part in things. Make sure you dump your cache and cookies on a regular basis to insure the best connection. Old or bad cookies can slow things down or even stop you from getting to certain places.

Hope you can get things sorted out and visit more often :)
