I am so frustrated with trying to lose muscle. I feminized a lot but I still have a muscular frame and back. I just don't know how to lose it or what diet to follow to shed the muscle. I am fairly small framed but padded with muscle on my legs, arms, shoulders, chest and back. My ex warned my in gym to big but I was trying to cope and compensate for dysphoria.

Has anyone got any advice how I can shed this bulk. Maybe someone that have done it before to get to a female range.

There is nothing you can safely and healthily do except wait.  It takes time.  Trying to speed up the process by deriving yourself of needed nutrition will just screw up your metabolism.  HRT given enough time, several years, will get you what you want.

On the other hand, there is no virtue in being weak.  Lots of CIS women are but then lots of CIS women are not.  Go to a gym and look around.

If you have body fat to lose that helps a lot.  The fat makes up a lot more of the upper body bulk than people realize.

Try doing a run of running/walking and make sure you have a caloric deficit. The longer you're on estrogen the more of a slender look you will get. Estrogen is what can make you look younger and healthier as well and having low testosterone can really help but as with any woman you need some testosterone(very little) and higher estrogen to be healthy. If you put your energy toward this then you'll achieve what you want in no time!

This is why men typically like to left a lot of weights and eat tons of food while woman like to eat just enough to function while doing a lot of cardio. It will not happen overnight but with dedication and a sense of urgency you'll have the desired feminine look in no time!

Just make sure you eat the right foods (eating is important but not a lot) and do a lot of cardio. Not only will your desired form take place but you'll feel healthier and better!

This will take a little time but don't rush it or you'll develop health problem.

Go for yoga or Pilates. Generally speaking, stretching those muscles reduces their bulky appearance.

Get a bicycle.  Have you ever seen a bulked up cyclist?  Even the ones who used steroids were thin because if you bulk up you lose speed.  The thinnest cyclists are the climbing specialists.  Learn their diet and ride uphill a lot.  And do distance riding.  That will make you thin, believe me.

If you are not on it in your HRT you could ask your doctor about finasteride or duteraside. Both of these stop the enzyme that turns testosterone into DHT which is what really builds muscle mass.
There are risks as with any medication. Something like 1% of users develop "finasteride syndrome" where even after stopping their bodies stop producing DHT and can have a drop in testosterone. Enough that those affected tend to develop gynocomastia.

Anyway, I'm on finasteride and my muscle mass dropped significantly from what it was.

How long are you on it. I messaged my endo and asked if she knows about something.

I've been taking finasteride since I started. It's a low dose compared to the dosage for prostate enlargement but with T suppressed it doesn't take a lot to prevent DHT formation.
It's also used to aid hair regrow th by stopping the hormone that triggers the male pattern hair loss.

I think you can healthily diet, but you gotta listen to your body.
I was trying to lose as much muscle and bulk as I could re hrt and I agree with this, I feel like I get sick every week now and sleep in the day alot and when I wake up I have migraines and chills that only eating relieves. So when your body says stop, you gotta stop.

I am planning on eating healthy and exercising doing yoga and so on. Up the energy that I burn more and cut out sugar and junk food. It is a better plan than starving myself
