Hi,
To the OP justWantitToEnd
I've been on Androcur for 3 months, not a high dose but probably a conceived transition dose, and currently tapering it down as I no longer need at the higher dose with my T levels having fallen through the floor. My experience so far has been relatively good, the only side effects have been moderate bouts of mild depression / feeling low with no motivation etc which last for 3-7 days. Being aware of this can help you though them as you know why you're feeling low (to be fair its still a struggle to rationalize but at least you know why you feel so glum!) and it does pass.
The effects (and for benefit for Rachel_Christina), no change at first but within a couple of weeks, getting physically aroused was difficult, although with persistence things did come back to life. Size wise, when not aroused, I started to look like I'd just got out of an ice bath. But not always, other times it was as though nothing had changed.
The majority of times now it tends to appear much smaller but it think this is due to cardio vascular stuff and due to not as much blood being sent that way, it does still regain full size on the odd occasion so I don't believe there has been any particular tissue shrinkage especially in the short space of time, its behavior though is certainly different.
As far as the two friends below, they do seem smaller but I'mm conscious that this is due to the lack of hormonal trigger to keep them active and as such they are slowly falling asleep.
I hope this is of some help, but as seems the way with us girls, YMMV.
Hugs
Amy xx
