So lately I've been working on my feminine voice. Back at the beginning of the year (Summer for me) I felt really confident about my voice. I could use my full range comfortably and I felt very girly! There was never any mucus preventing me from using my feminine voice. However, as the months progressed, I seemed to have this stubborn mucus around my vocal cords. Different times of the day it's worse and some days I don't have much there at all.
Basically, when I use my head voice, it causes me to croak and my voice to break. This never happened earlier in the year, and I'm suspecting it's the seasons affecting my mucus production.
I've tried everything, and I'm getting desperate. From vitamins, anti-histamines, diet, humidifiers, drinking lots of water, vocalzone... you name it.
Has anyone else experienced this and more importantly, does anyone have a solution? I just want to be clear of this mucus/phlegm. It's so stubborn.
The next step I'm considering is seeing an ENT doctor.
