I been back to being with my parents for about four days now. Luckily there is no hostility and my mom is at least no angry with me but sadly can't say the same about my dad who has hard feelings against me and won't speak to me. Also I am able to continue taking hormones (it's now been three months yay :) ) but my parents are strongly against me taking them and still strongly against my transition as a whole I can't even openly dress anymore and I fear hostility when my appearance does majorly change and they take notice.

Also I am applying for jobs again, I couldn't for months since I was homeless and had no reliable address, hopefully my luck will change there but like usual I fear getting fired due to my learning disability, which by the way I got the documentation updated, I am hoping the places I applied for, like Walgreens, will help me in that regard because at this point I need a job and need to keep it.

Sorry to hear about your reversal of fortune.  Hang in there and do what you need to do to stay at peace with your parents while remaining true to yourself.
Love is not obedience, conformity, or submission. It is a counterfeit love that is contingent upon authority, punishment, or reward. True love is respect and admiration, compassion and kindness, freely given by a healthy, unafraid human being....  - Dan Barker

It's been hard :(

Right though my main concern is getting a job and having the same trouble/concern of finding somewhere that'll work with my learning disability I can only hope either T.J. Maxx or Walgreens come through and are helpful. P.s. Voc Rehab in Tennessee is a disaster thanks to the "wonderful" legislature that keeps cutting funding so no one with disabilities can get the help we need

I'm sure you'll be fine on the job front, every supermarket around here has a complement of hard-working people with disabilities. Good luck!

Wish that were the actual case here in Tennessee after all I got let go from Walmart two years ago because of my disability saying I was too slow at my job.  I still fear that happening again with anywhere I may end up working.

I hate living in a country where ableism is tolerated :(

Is USPS hiring where you live? I've seen a guy working in a central post office who couldn't hear or speak, still he was employed and his job was very secure.
