hello everyone
I am new to susan's but not new to being an SO.We have been married for 14 yrs. I didn't know at the beginning of our relationship that my other half is MTF.  I haven't really had very many people to talk to about this but its great that now there is a place to talk. I'm really not that great at introductions so if this seems like it hasn't been thought through thats why. My name is Ranee my other half or my wife's name is Jessie. She and I have a lesbian relationship although she is interested in guys as well. I used to date guys to hide my true feelings about women so when Jessie started talking to me more and more about MTF transitioning the more I understood why I had such an attraction to her. I know I haven't really said much about me and I'm really not sure what else to say  if you have any questions for me I will answer them.

take care of yourselves and your special someone,
Ranee

Welcome to Susan's, Ranee!

It's always nice to be able to welcome an SO, we don't have enough of you here.  It has helped me tremendously in preserving my relationship with my spouse to be able to see how the world looks to the spouse of a trans person from posts by other SO's.  I hope your presence will do the same.

I came out to my wife over two years ago and for a lot of time it has felt like hell on steroids and I'm grateful we are still together.  I just went full time a month ago and life is slowly readjusting to our new realities, the loss of large chunks of family notwithstanding.

I'm happy to make your acquaintance, Ranee, and I hope we'll be seeing more from you often and real soon.

Hugs & smiles

It's nice to see you Ranee :)

There aren't many SO's but there are a few ;)   I know exactly what you mean about hiding your sexuality and trying to fit into the straight world, I tried the same thing...

I hope to see you around the forums more :)
