As far as I can remember it only took a couple of go's as the name Sarah is pretty common.  It is also the name that my mum would have given me at birth.  I did consider it very seriously, but I thought it was too feminine for me at the time.

So I used Sarah as the basis for my forum name.  The initial, which is the first letter of my previous surname.  That clinched it for me and was accepted, so 'Sarah B' was accepted by Susan's and its a name that honours the past.

I have used two different names here. One when I first joined, for a year or so, then changed to this one. Neither were taken, thankfully. This is only a change in screen name, though. I still log in using the original one. I could have changed it to be my user name many times in the past but for whatever reason, I didn't. I like both.
