Today we learned that incumbent Arizona Republican Senator Jeff Flake is calling it quits, probably due to his dis-satisfation with the current GOP climate. This is however news to me, big news and this is probably the best chance the Democrats have at taking a Republican Senate seat.

Still, any Democrats here shoudlnt get their hopes up. I could see the Dems winning the House and Speakership but in the Senate, Arizona and Nevada mayevery well go Democrat next year, but just as easily the Republicans could pick up Missouri, Montana, Indiana and of course West Virginia. Still another turn of events. Just wanted to babble :)
