hey there, my name is adrien and i'm a 16 year old ftm.
i've looked to this website as a resource for a really long time, but just decided to become a member recently.

i guess to give some facts about me-
my name comes from the main character in a french movie from the 60's that got really attached to. in general i really like films, music, and writing/drawing. i'm not really sure what i want to do with myself in the future though.

anyway, thank you for reading this. i was kind of anxious about joining the forums so i hope im doing okay so far.

I'm glad you decided to become a member,  I found things were easier once I could interact with people here. 

You sound like a very creative person, the fields you mention can involve both art and science.  I assume you're thinking about your future education and stuff to learn in your interest area.  It's sort of like transition - some things require work but the potential rewards are awesome.

Hi Again Adrien,

  Thank you for hopping on over here to say hello to us. We are glad you are here. It's been a very long time since I was 16 but I do remember having dreams. My interests back then ran to Sci-Fi and fantasy as they still do. I wanted to be apart of the future so much that it led me to a career in computer repair as that was as close to it as I could get.
  At that age I also had difficulties and struggled with my desires to wear my sisters' clothes and wishing I could be one of the girls myself. Back then there was very little information to explain my feeling and desires so I grew up "know" it was wrong and sick to do the things I was doing. I am glad those days are long gone and that there is more information and help for this younger folk like you these days. What ever you feel and /or are told remember that your feelings and desires are not wrong and you are not sick. There is plenty of help out there these days for you including this site and the wonderful people on it.
  We are glad you are here and you are wanted.
