For people using patches

I have a client who uses an insulin pump. While helping her change it this morning I had an idea.

On the top you see a clear bandage used to keep the part of the pump that sticks into you in place. On the bottom is a wipe called skincote.

If you have a problem keeping patches on these could be a help. You would put on your patch as normal then wipe around it with skincote over a big enough area for the bandage. Don't wipe it on the patch or under it. Doing that would keep the estrogen from getting into your bloodstream. Used this way it will keep a good bandage seal to your skin without the bandage tearing skin off when you remove it.

I hope this helps.

April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

They say the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train. I say, climb aboard!
