Hello. I'm starting to feel ready for T, but I can't really afford the letter and I would prefer to just get hormones via my consent. Anyone have any experience in this area? The closest I could find online was in California.

Informed consent isn't just a clinic thing. Individual doctors can offer HRT via informed consent as well. If you have a Planned Parenthood location nearby, give them a call. They don't offer it at all locations, but it is becoming more common. If they don't work out, start calling individual doctors. Endocrinologists, general practitioners, even OB/GYNs are all likely to have some experience with HRT and may be able to help you out.

Looks like you should talk to the people here http://www.thecenterlv.org/about/mission
Hopefully that's not a violation of rules.

Welcome to the site. I hope you find what you are looking for.

I also want to share some links with you. They are mostly welcome information and the rules that govern the site. If you have not had a chance to look through them, please take a moment:

Hey all! So I checked out the above and it's fantastic, thank you. They have meetings for trans people which I am eager to check out. =) As for clinics, I called 3 of the listed places.

Community Outreach Medical Center: the clerk was extremely confused by my question and after asking, she told me they do not offer HRT.

Desert Family Medicine: the clerk was also a bit confused, but she said they offer HRT but I would have to come in to find out if they do it by informed consent.

Huntridge Family Clinic (huntridgefamilyclinic.org): This one was by far the best. The girl on the phone knew immediately what I was asking, she had a lot of info and knew the correct questions to ask (name, gender on ID, preferred name, etc.). They do informed consent, but she said they're currently booked until the end of july. I made an appointment, and with her help I found out they're in network for my insurance so woot. x) I suggest this one.

Thanks again for the links and advice!

That's awesome! In glad that helped. I've kind of come across that kind of clinic a couple times and they do treat you well.
And the end of July isn't too bad. I always had to book appointments as soon as possible to keep close to a good schedule
Good luck
Hugs
