I'm super jealous of you with your wife. <3 ;D

I bought a few things for shaping, and it really is amazing how much they do. Has really changed the way I look at other women out in the world, and helped me feel a little bit less jealous since I can just chalk it up to the magic of shapewear. ;D I know a lot of the stuff like hose and all that just becomes a hassle with time, but for the moment I definitely have the same feelings. I love anything and everything that reinforces my femininity, and the look and feel of those sorts of things does just the trick. I've taken to just sitting around in the control top hose to get used to the feeling. Supposedly helps with posture and keeps you from being as hungry given that it is constricting your spine and stomach respectively. (Though the hose a huge step below real shapewear on that.) One thing I bought that is basically a modern equivalent of a corset with added butt lift is just brutal to wear, but at the same time helps me to be a lot happier looking in the mirror even if I know it is an illusion.

You would be surprised how many women have shapewear under their clothes.  My mom is notorious for wearing that stuff. She's not fat at all but she wears spanks all the time. She also has a corsett type thing she wears with certain night time outfits. Don't waste your time being jealous of other women's figures. You never know what they have going on under their clothes.

Roll and Roll, you are so correct about women, even the slim ones wearing these shape wear to improve their figure and curve.  Tat is what they are made for; getting the correct size can improve almost any woman's curves.  I was surprised when I was in college living as a girl who many wear them when they got dressed up.

@Julia1996 - You were SO right about these cupid tummy control panties!

A note to other new girls that find this thread:
Tucking for me as a transsexual is all about controlling what you don't want to a point where its like you don't have it. This is both for peace of mind and so you can wear certain clothes.

The most important factor in that equation is the gusset. In panties, that's the little bit that runs between your oysters and your backside. That bit of fabric is what will control your unwanteds. What I have noticed is that a lot of shapewear and hose have legs. It might just be my build but legs pull when you walk, moving the gusset around on its edges. For me this eventually lets things move and that's exactly what you don't want. My oysters are always trying to get back out.

There are two things I must have tucking. Two squares of toilet paper wrapped around the unwanted member and these panties.

The cupid tummy control panties have a nice sized gusset. They are comfortable, in fact, they feel nice. I bought them just a single tick small. They don't have legs, and once you pull them up the side seams will fall just perfect to hold your oysters in. If they had legs they would not do this or they would, when being active, move in a way that allowed the oysters to come loose and things to move.

Best part? I don't feel like I'm being eaten by a giant jungle constrictor snake all day.
