Hi everyone,

I'm a long time lurker but finally created a profile here to participate in some conversations.

A bit about myself, I'm a 36 year old transwoman from central Canada and have been transitioning for a few years now. Been on HRT for over 3 years, went full-time in June 2016, had unremarkable FFS this passed September and scheduled for SRS in December.

Transition has been quite a ride, albeit a slow one. Anxious to get off this train and have a normal life again, or at least some semblance of one.

Anyway, just wanted to say a quick hello and that I'll see you around the forum.

Thanks for the welcome, Laurie. 

I'm having SRS done with Brassard in Montreal.  I'm not sure how I'm feeling about it frankly.  I used to be very excited but that's dissipated and given way to a feeling of "let's just get it over with already".  I am nervous though, Brassard has a good reputation but there's always the chance of complications and the recovery sounds quite brutal.  I hate dilating already and haven't even begun.
