Finally hanging out with a girl who is trans!

Wel in the course of 8 days I have made a new friend! and she is trans too !! this is kinda exciting because well, i never really had trans-gender friends to hang out with much in my life. All the girly-friends I have had and hung out with both in real life or atleast on a regularly basis (meaning more then once or twice) have been cisgender. I know this girl and I already know it wil be a regular girls night out but it is still cool to have that connection I guess? I love my cis-girls with all my heart and they been a good pillar of emotional support during this transiton, but to make a friend that is trans given how few I have had is kinda, well, nice. We also share the same province and lived on the same island (vancouver island) during our childhood! Just really stoked, she is also very pretty and a sweetheart , looks like Katie Rain Hill tbh

Congratulations! It is nice to have another trans friend around! The only transgirl I've ever developed a friendship with was only out to roughly 5 people. Having gone through it mostly by myself, it felt great to be able to help someone else and just to be able to talk more openly about trans stuff than I generally would to cis-people.

I am so happy for you I too hope to have a friend like that but in such a small town it is unlikely though I do often go to the city and meet with other trans people a true friend to talk to would be great
