It's Day Ten of Recovery after my hysto. I was supposed to have laparoscopic intravaginal, but Dr H found a fibroid the size of my fist in there. So guess who got an incision between his fat belly and FUPA? This guy. Right here.
And guess who can't do narcotics? This guy. Dilaudid made me itch and my heart race. I was switched to Percocet, which makes me itch, but Benadryl reduces most of that.
It also made me constipated. Four days post-op I was in the ER, bound tighter than Dick's hatband and near tears. Haven't touched a Percocet since. Been on ibuprofen and an occasional acetaminophen since then.
My incisions look pretty good at this point. Some scabs have peeled away and the skin underneath looks pink. I've got two incisions covered up at the moment, because they looked a little deep. Otherwise, they seem fine. [I do tend to heal quickly from minor injuries.]
At this point I'm just really sore and tired. I also feel like I have to use the toilet about every hour or so. But the thing that really gets to me, is even though I took my last injection on 15 October, I'm gagging for it. Dr H said no Adult Shenanigans until six weeks post-op. When I asked about fapping he said two weeks, as long as it's all on the outside. And I have no problem with that. I wasn't exactly the town bicycle before nor will I be after this. [I mean, don't get me wrong, it actually sounds fun...]
So, what do you lads think? Am I healing properly? What should I do about my arousal? I still have...checks watch...97 hours to go. And how much is it going to hurt when I can finally take matters in my own hand?
