Stubborn belly fat- hrt

I've seen pretty good results in terms of fat redistribution, and feminization with hrt over the past year. I've also lost about 55 lbs in the past year putting me at a very lean 130 lbs and 5 ft 9.

One thing I still have troubles with is the stubborn male "spare tire" that has stuck around even at this low body weight, and that hrt has not affected ( its preference of which fat to burn in which order, where to store etc).

I was really hoping that hrt would help lose the belly fat as it is a typically male pattern fat storage location, however my body seems to still want to burn this area last.

Anyone else have issues with stubborn fat stores that "should" be affected by hrt but aren't?

Is it perhaps because the female fat storage locations simply do not have enough fat cells- typically developed in puberty in either male or female locations?

Thanks!

I'm still having that problem myself.
I've heard that Spiro tends to cause visceral fat. I've cut my spiro down and it seems like it may be helping.
Soon I'll be off spiro completely, and hopefully it'll disappear.

I have the same problem in my lower belly and on my lower back on either side of my spine.  Those two remain stubborn even with pretty low bodyfat levels.  It's not a lot (8-10mm skinfold thickness on the lower belly and 18-20mm on my lower back) but it is more than in other places.

This is genetic and even some CIS women have the same issue.  I'm hoping though that HRT takes care of it in the long run.

HRT does seem to be doing something though because the next thickest fat store after my lower back is on my thighs.

I suspect that this may be due to TOO LOW TESTOSTERONE. Other possibilities: stress (chronically elevated cortisol), low IGF-1 levels.
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

There's a ton of old threads about this.  Some have been struggling with belly fat for years.   :(
