My initial plans for GRS were "I don't need it that hard, so I'll wait until I save enough money to go to a top GRS clinic in Thailand" but that might be changing. Now I don't know if I want to wait that  much so I've started to consider other cheaper surgeons. The cheapest option would be having the surgery done here in Argentina, as the operation is free by law. The thing is, I can't find many reviews on the surgeons and their results.

I know when the time comes when I just have to get rid of my genitals I'll accept anything, but that time is not today and I still care about the results. Has anyone here had their GRS done in Argentina? I'd like to hear at least a few opinions. There's almost no information about it nor the quality achieved. The only thing they tell is "it's free", which isn't very encouraging.

Well I believe the term free would be dependant on whether you are a resident of that country and entitled to health benefits under their health plans.  Canada is the same, GCS is free for any resident, but it's done by a top notch surgeon.  The government pays the bills because we have universal health care.

So, you might need to contact the surgeon/hospital yourself to find out what the cost is for a non-resident.

Yes, I should have mentioned it. It's free for residents. I am resident. That's why I'm considering it. But I don't know how much that "free" can cost me.
