I had my first hormone appointment today!!

Hi everyone!! I have some exciting news!! Today I took the very first step in becoming myself physically. I got in contact with a nice doctor who said he could provide me with T and anything I need along the way. I was so excited while filling out the paperwork and talking to him about how often I'll be taking T, I could hardly believe it was really happening. I had to get my blood drawn which ended with a nurse having to stay by my side to ensure i didnt faint, (Im not scared of needles, I just always have a weird reaction about blood) but otherwise it went perfectly!!

I even met a nice trans girl there named emmy who I think is going to become my very good friend. she called me cute. as you can tell, its been a great day for sawney!!

Yays! It's a giant step! I'm a fainter, too, they always put me in the chair with wraparound arms so I can't fall out.

Congrats! I used to be really phobic about needles, so I was surprised it didn't bother me too much when they took blood. Then the guy showed me the blood-filled vial to make sure the label was correct, and I nearly fainted.

Congrats Sawney You are on your way! Good for you.

  Sarah don't feel bad the one and only time I got a bit whoosey giving blood was when they brought the pint bag filled with my blood up where I could see it.
  I can't donate blood now that I've a history of cancer floating through my veins. In two years I might be able to since it will be five years since the last diagnosis should I live that long. They like getting my blood because it is B-.
