My doctor decided to get me on lupron, however she never mentioned this flare up effect. She did not prescribe me with anything to stop it either, and she told me to stop taking spiro/fin.

I have been suffering from the testosterone flare up now for a week, and I am afraid it is going to revert the changes made by the estradiol. Due to me not knowing what caused this, I decided to get back on my pills, but they don't seem to be effective against the flare. All the male issues ended up coming back with a force to the point of effecting my daily life.

Does anybody know when this nightmare will stop? And can it revert the changes made with estradiol? Also, why is the spiro failing to do its job?

Megan.

The flare lasts around 2 weeks,  hang on in there. I was given Cypro to offset this,  I'm sure it's not fun for you [emoji853]. Hugs. X

In addition... Welcome!

One item to mention is the site policy of not posting dosages, if you could edit your original post, it would be appreciated [emoji5].

I hope you find the site useful,  perhaps post a bit more about yourself in our 'introductions' thread. X
