I've been trying to find a good way for hair removal which is not as permanent as electrolysis or laser hair removal. I have tried shaving and hair removal but both the ways leave me feeling uncomfortable for a couple of days after i do it.. it feels like small needles poking out of my skin.. does everyone have the same problem?? Or am I doing something wrong?? Because i always follow the instructions on the hair removal creame bottle.. i dont have same problem with my facial hair.. its only happens below the neck.. i want a smooth hairless body, but it gets very uncomfortable.. can someone please help??

Thanks! XO

why do you say "not as permanent?"

Electrolysis and Laser are really the only ways to eradicate hair.  Both are expensive, painful and take time.

if you want to remove body hair occasionally you could try an epilator, which mechanically plucks out your body hair.  It's good for legs, arms, etc.  Although, I wouldn't suggest using on your face.

Go with an electric razor. They don't cut quite as close so you have less trouble with skin irritation but it's close enough for smooth skin. Use a light touch because sometime the razor foil can gouge the skin.

Have you looked into the No!No! hair removal system?  It isn't laser or electrolysis.  Reviews seem to be mixed.

This is my suggestion as well. I started epilating my body recently and I'm happy with the results.

dual edge razor and badger brush. Straight razor gives the best shave but takes some skill.  Otherwise, just get waxed.  It lasts a few months and is less prickly when it comes back in.  The creams are a joke and don't work for nothing.  More than likely, the creams will give you a rash if you have sensitive skin.  Epilator works alright, but you will get irritated if you have sensitive skin.  I use a wet/dry epilator, always using it wet and in the bathtub.  It lasts a couple weeks.

Plucking hair in any way can distort follicles, making electrology more difficult and laser impossible.  When I learned about that I packed away my rotary epilator for good.

I just dry shave my legs and arms usually, while listening to music.  I've been hormones for a while so they're even easier to manage than they were before.  Chest is still thicker and more stubborn though.

since i have no plans to electro my legs, I'm going to use my new epilator tonight.

I like the epilator at the moment. It is great on legs, arms, and chest. Don't use it on your facial hair, it's really painfully.  Also painful in the lower regions. The razor is not a bad thing. Also for quick removals nair is good. Also waxing is good and lasts for up to 8 weeks. So you have a few options. For more permanent solutions of course you have laser and electrolysis.
