Congratulations girl.  Despite the error that must feel good.  I'm just waiting for a letter from my endo and then I am submitting all the stuff to change birth certificate, license, passport, etc.  I just hate doing paperwork.

Hunh, I'm shocked, GA seems to be reasonable on the issue. Probably the Atlanta influence I'd imagine. (BC isn't marked as amended.)

One of those small world moments, you left the year I was born. Augusta isn't a bad place all in all, I left young originally but moved back and lived there from 2002 until 2014 and liked it there. I'm not sure I'd want to transition there, but it's always been bit of an outlier for the area in a lot of good ways, particularly considering it's not even that big (for whatever reason, it gets really good, even trendy, restaurants, has a great hospital system, etc). Prior to coming to terms with myself I was planning to go back up to the area, though now Atlanta is the only reasonable choice in state if I want to survive the next few years.
Ellie,
I was a New Yorker who was moved to GA at 13. (you know the year your Grandfather was born.) They were still fighting the Civil War in their own charming way then. Never could handle the racial thing down there for one thing. Atlanta is a whole different world. Maryland was our compromise. I love the attitude here and transition has gone smooth so far.
Kathy,
I remember reading your thread on your situation. Was wondering how that was going. It is tough being the first test tube baby. lol Why does it not surprise me that payment of money is somehow involved for your part?

Amber,
Thanks! It feels good but the emotion is not there so much at this time. When the papers for my Mom's estate went out and I was listed as her daughter, that one got me big time.
If I ever offend you, let me know. It's not what I am about.
