Hi all,
I am a retired veteran, and now, a meditation teacher, and am happily involved with a actively transitioning MtF Trans person.  Her process is going very well, and our relationship has weathered the changes nicely.  My wife is also in relationship with her, and the 3 of us get along very harmoniously.

I am here to offer support and advice for those struggling with their loved ones changes.

It is a beautiful thing to watch someone grow; in self acceptance, in happiness, in living more closely to what is true on the inside.  That is my purpose, in this relationship, and in meditation.  To facilitate people reaching their full potential.

Hello Saha, welcome to Susan's!

(Full disclosure - I am the MtF trans person Saha mentions).

My life has never been better and I wish the same for everyone.  Between having strong friendships and relationships, and the support I have received here on Susan's, I no longer feel alone. 

Since you're a veteran I'll mention the roll call thread.  It's interesting how many transgender and significant others' of transgender have served in the military. 

We have an active Significant Others community at Susan's.  Support for SO's goes both ways as we need to understand and support the inevitable challenges we all face.

    I'm Laurie. I want to welcome both of you to Susan's Place. I am pleased to meet you both as I have been privileged to hear a little about you in anonymous terms from Kendra. She obviously thinks you two are special people as I am sure that is how you feel about her. I share this opinion with you as I have come to appreciate her as a special person too.   Thank you so much for the welcome.  Bethany and I feel that we are dating out of our league, actually!  We both feel very blessed to have Kendra in our life.

I look forward to getting to know you, meeting would be great.

I have met a small number of Transfolk, and read a few of the stories here, I am struck by how they have such courage.  To work toward being oneself in all ways in the face of a "culture" that does not appreciate that uniqueness. o
